Easy IT Solutions provides IT support and web services to businesses in Perth, Western Australia. This page explains what personal information this website collects, why it is collected, and what happens to it afterwards.

What this website collects

Only what you type into the enquiry form:

  • your name
  • your business name
  • your email address
  • your phone number
  • the service you are asking about
  • the size of your business
  • your message

The form also carries a hidden field that is never shown to you. It exists to catch automated spam and holds no information about you.

Why it is collected

To answer your enquiry, and to keep a record of what was asked and what we replied.

Where it goes

Two places, and no further. It is saved in this website’s own database, and it is emailed to us. It is not sold, rented, or passed to anyone for marketing.

What this website does not do

  • There is no analytics on this site. Visits are not counted or profiled.
  • There are no advertising or tracking pixels.
  • There is no social media tracking.
  • Nothing you do here is used to build a profile of you.

This is stated plainly because it is unusual. If it ever changes, this page will be updated before the change is made.

Other companies your browser contacts

Some parts of this page are loaded from other companies’ servers. When your browser fetches them, those companies can see your IP address and general information about your device. This happens on most websites and it is worth knowing about:

  • Google Fonts, which provides the typefaces used here.
  • Pexels, which hosts some of the photography.
  • WordPress.org, for a small number of files that ship with WordPress.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress sets its own cookies in two situations only: when someone signs in to the administration area, and when a visitor leaves a comment and asks their browser to remember their details.

Comments

Where comments are open on an article, WordPress stores the name, email address and IP address given with the comment, so that spam can be identified and the comment attributed.

How long information is kept

Enquiries are kept while we are dealing with them, and afterwards as a record of the work. If you would like yours removed, ask and we will delete it.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

Email us at info@easyitsolutions.com.au and ask. We may need to confirm who you are before making changes, so that someone else cannot request your details. There is no charge for a reasonable request.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to the administration area is limited to people who need it. No system is completely secure, and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects your information.

If you are not satisfied

Contact us first and we will try to sort it out. If you are still not satisfied, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this page

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published here.
